| Cylinder Head Reconditioning Procedure |

All Cylinder heads are completely dismantled, then chemically cleaned to remove sludge and rust. |
|
|

Heads are visually inspected for damage and stripped threads and then cracked teased. |
|
|
| • |
Valve guides are checked for size and are reclaimed by one of the following methods. |
|
|
|
(1) Valve guide is replaced. |
|
(2) K line guide is fitted. |
|
(3) Reamed to suit over size valve stem. |
|
|
|

We believe that valve guide clearance is the most important factor in a guide. |
|
|

All heads are surfaced milled and are thoroughly cleaned prior to assemble. |

Valve springs are checked for pressure and replaced if necessary. | |
